Nice article in Friday's Enterprise (click here) by John Wharton on Jackie and Mary Virginia Tennyson who ran Chaptico Market for nearly 50 years. Jackie retired from the business in 2012 and recently passed away.
However, his Chaptico Market is currently still going strong thru the efforts of his son Ronnie and daughter in law Gwenn.
In the article Jackie mentioned something that I don't particularly care for either.

Chaptico Market is known for its stuffed ham, fried chicken and country sausage. If you're up that way stop in and see just what an old time country store is all about.
