What a Day!

49ers' Fans Tailgating Before Game
Ah yes, with sunny skies and pleasant temps in the upper 70's, today figures to be one of those beautiful fall Sundays.  That makes it an ideal time for staying inside your man cave and watching 14 to 15 hours of sports today.  It just doesn't get any better than today does it?

Forget going to Church, or doing any yard work or any of that winterizing crap you should be doing before it turns real cold, you got more important things to do today. Start off with Bloody Mary's and English muffins for breakfast to assist you in watching  the Redskins play in London for the kick off their game at 9:30.  Enjoy the funny feeling of watching football that early.  And should the Redskins win, it just will make the rest of the day that much better.  Should they lose, no problem you got other games to watch all day and help you forget about the Skins not winning.

Follow breakfast with a lunch of clam chowder and chicken wings to nosh on as you watch the New England Patriots take on the Buffalo Bills.   I'm thinking Rex has something special planned for Tommy Boy so it should be a fun game to watch.

That will take you thru the afternoon to the 4 o'clock game featuring the Falcons and Packers.  Here you can kick back and enjoy a game where you really don't care who wins.  However, since you don't really care about this game too much, you may want to take a quick break here because this is probably your best time for some quality family time and pretend that you actually are interested in what your wife and kids are up to.  You may even want to slurp down some dinner with them to make them feel like you really care.

Don't over extend yourself however with the fam because you got a full sports-watching night ahead of you.  This evening's fare has the Cowboys and Eagles throwing down on one channel while the Cubs try and stave off elimination on another.   Get that DVR a rolling and you could even stay up til past midnight watching sports.  It just doesn't get any better than today does it?
