This is Buzzy's Country Store blog designed to keep you apprised of what's going on at the Store. Buzzy's is a general store located in St. Mary's County, Southern Maryland near Pt. Lookout State Park. Buzzy and Jean Ridgell purchased the Store from Jean's father Harry Raley in 1953. Buzzy operated it until his passing in 2009. His son J. Scott Ridgell is the current owner.

Yacht No. 2

A couple days following the yacht showing up at my pier (previous post) another one briefly anchored out in the Potomac off of Piney Point where it stayed for a couple hours before heading up river.  On Sunday it then reappeared on its way back down the river.

Turns out that this yacht, the Arience, is a charter yacht going for $650,000 a week. It is currently in Baltimore as noted here:

This chart shows that it made a trip from B'more to D.C. last week so that explains it's passing by the Point like it did.


Too, I found several videos featuring the Arience (click here.)  

When I mentioned seeing the Arience to someone, he joked "Wonder if Steve Bannon was on board?" (click here if you don't get that joke.)   Note that We Build the Wall was not going to succeed anyway, because everyone knows that Mexico is paying to build that wall right?
