This is Buzzy's Country Store blog designed to keep you apprised of what's going on at the Store. Buzzy's is a general store located in St. Mary's County, Southern Maryland near Pt. Articles of Something

The following was written by Steve Patten, Publisher of the Beverage Journal, a trade magazine for the licensed beverage industry.  It appeared in this month's issue of the Journal (click here.)

The back and forth that Steve mentions in his article is a sign of the times that we live in.  While I am not particularly fond of the "this is the new normal" explanation of things, that does sum it up fairly well.

As discussed in the following article (click here) however, I think I'm suffering from what some are calling Covid Fatigue Syndrome.  (When it is pointed out that feeling fatigued is one of the symptoms of the disease, that tends to add even more stress,)   But when I say fatigued, what I really mean is that I am fed up with all the churn and arguing over things Covid-related.  Seems like everything is now a pitched battle and for someone who doesn't like battling, it can be very tiring.

Just the other day, when witnessing an argument over the wearing of masks in Buzzy's Country Store I thought to myself "I can't believe I got to listen to this."  If this is the new normal, then I may need some new drugs.

Not much to say or do I guess, except just take it one day at a time.  Now where have I heard those words before?

Ah yes, just what the Doctor prescribed - some music to soothe the savage beast inside.
