Mention of the Rabbit Hash Store fire yesterday reminded me of Buzzy's Country Store fire in 1983. I have done a couple posts on this previously (click here and in that post is a link to another story on it.)
Just last week I was visited in the Store by Dennis Simmons who informed me that he was living in the trailer behind the Store when it caught fire. Dennis said that a lady named Tina was driving by the Store, noticed that it was aflame and knocked on his door. He in turn awoke Buzzy to inform him.
